Staff and facilities are great

My partner and I often reserve a room, usually on Friday nights. The place is usually busy between 10:00pm and 5am. The facility itself is excellent and very very clean. The sauna, the hot tub, dry sauna and shower facilities are extremely well maintainted. There are private showers with douche stations as well as numerous lavatory facilities and additional showers on each level. The rooftop deck is nice for unwinding. There are amenities galore including a full-service bar, pool table, dark rooms, mazes, glory holes, a tanning booth and massage services. I would say that the only real negative would be the lack of a functional, up-to-date workout area. The staff is always very friendly and efficient and the crowd is very diverse with something for everyone. XS does occasional theme nights; bears, asian, indian, blackout, etc. Compared to Steamworks, XS is a FAR better choice if you are into having sex. If you just want to walk around in circles and not get laid, go to Steamworks.

Ignore SOME of the last review

The statement that asians are discriminated against here is bull. Fact is, this place is MAJORITY asian, and unfortunately those of us who aren't into asians sometimes have to be quite verbal with the pushy ones who just don't understand the word "NO."

This place is full of discrimination, STAFFS SUCK

If you are asian, I dont suggest you to go to this place. I had been called "fuck off, you Mr. RICE in the house". I brought this up to a staff. He did not investigate, but accused me being a LIAR. When I brought this up to the managers/owners. They told me not to go there again coz I m a LIAR. I swear to GOD that this really happened to me and another asian friend. It happened 3 times with me and 2 times with my friend. I will never go back there again. Please you asian guys, if you think they are doing the wrong thing, dont give them anymore supports, we should be proud of being asian. You will feel more welcome at the STEAMWORKS.

Problems at SpaExcess. - Barebacking - Unsafe.

I was at the spa on Jan. 6, 2012. Very upset this time. Front guy was abit rude towards me. The Dark Room.- Well someone pushed me into the room beside the cage. I tried to leave and was pused back in. When I saw everyone was barebacking I had to use abit of my Karate and forced my way out. Barebacking is Unsafe Guys. How many of the Guys now have HIV and are now going to pass it to others. Not good for the Spa. This is my last time going. I am from out of town and to me that was the last straw as they say. I don't want to catch HIV - No Thanks. And that night when I was sleeping well the next morning I was covered with bite marks on my chest. Wonder how many others had that.? Toronto sure has changed and not for the better. That's all for now.

Better than Steamworks

I went today and have to say Steamworks is running out of steam so check xs as it is taking over.
