Smoking hot without the attitude.
I remember this place back in the 1990s, when I was younger. Despite the smoking hot guys, they all were nice. The bartenders were allways nice. I live in Montral now, and I and my boyfriend have two completely different tastes. He's into bears/chubs and I am into twinks/jocks/qubcois types. This is the ONLY bar, we both like and can enjoy.
early 90's
I loved this place in the early 90's, they would have 40-50 dancers working on any given saturday night. mostly mississauga and etobicoke boys with a mix of french canadians. Tony the waiter would always make me feel right at home. the first dancer to bring me upstairs was nolan and I had the time of my life, I wanted to take him back to my hotel and lick his toes.
too expensive drinks
went there on a Sunday night on Canada's Thanksgiving weekend. only 1 dancer was half-way cute (supposed to be 4 in the time I was there but only 3 showed up - DJ apparently didn't notice because he kept running commentary going as if there was someone dancing). drinks are more expensive than in other Toronto gay bars. did have nicer interior than other strip bars I've been to.
A Boring Ripoff
For all the hype, Remingtons is mostly a boring place with reputed "dancers" who don't do much dancing looking to ripoff patrons. Find some other entertainment -- you'll be happier for it.
