Pride Vogue Dance Workshop
The ballroom scene is one of the most creative movements to emerge from LGBTQ history. The ballroom floor is an opportunity for people to perform their biggest, most fabulous selves through voguing - a dance consisting of model-like poses along with arm, leg, and body movement.
In this workshop, members of one of Toronto's premier ballroom groups, the House of Constantine, will create different ballroom looks with kids (that means dress-up!), along with ballroom names and personas, and teach the basics of voguing, ballroom's own dance form, and how to walk the runway. Ages 7-12.
Space is limited. Register in-person or by calling 416-395-5710.
Hope to see you there!
