JOCKSTRAP - WORLD PRIDE EDITION

Chris Munro & Dale C are proud to present a very special edition of JOCKSTRAP coming this June to Toronto. JOCKSTRAP - WORLD PRIDE EDITION welcomes DJ Ben Baker (nyc) to the main room. This incredibly talented DJ has been making waves across the U.S and Mexico. We couldn't be happier to have him with us for his Canadian debut. Ben will be features in the main room at the party. Baker's set at the NYC Pride 2013 edition of the PAPA WORLD TOUR and his opening for international DJ’s Hector Fonseca and Tomer Maizner wowed the sold out crowds. Baker returned to the PAPA WORLD TOUR in October 2013 where he warmed up the crowd for DJs Isaac Escalante and Micky Friedmann at PAPA FROM HELL at the legendary Irving Plaza in NYC. Baker has headlined events such as EGO Saturdays, produced by Chris Harris and Rafael Sanchez in Providence, RI. and Griffin Sundays, produced by Rafferty/Mazur Events in NYC Upstairs in the loft is none other than Canada's own Nick Bertossi. Nick is one of, if not THE best DJ of his generation in Vancouver. Having being thrown into the scene in Spring 2007, his long list of credits is already pretty impressive. After spinning in Mykonos, Greece and playing multiple gigs over Pride ’07 he was picked up by CanThrill entertainment for the Envy My Music series, people stood up and took notice of this hot young talent right away. Gigs at Celebrities, Shine, 1181 & The Majestic soon followed. As well, Bertossi became a Saturday night resident at the world famous afterhours 816:the World. Mixing hard tribal, with high energy vocals, and even throwing in an anthem or two, DJ Bertossi’s sets are always full of his own edits and remixes that leave the crowd jumping, screaming and wanting more! Local promoters, and event organizers are taking notice as well. But DJ Bertossi’s sound can translate to any scene he is thrown into, which is what makes this DJ stand out from the rest. Being able to play for whatever situation he’s put in, is one of his many gifts. He can feel out the crowd, and give them what they want, or what they didn’t know they wanted.
