Toronto Pride: Lipstick Jungle

Lipstick Jungle is one of the oldest and most established outdoor events in Cawthra Square Park. The traditional gathering point after the Dyke March, Lipstick Jungle brings together thousands of lesbian, trans and gay party-goers from Toronto and beyond. We are thrilled to bring back two of the most talented female house DJs of the international LGBT dance scene: Rio de Janeiro’s Ana Paula and Miami’s Alyson Calagna. Our Brazilian bombshell, nicknamed ‘Deejay Woman’, Ana Paula has always produced breathtaking sets and ensures everyone in the Green Space is dancing from the first to the very last minute. She brings high energy and over-the-top sexy beats for an amazing night under the stars. To add more House to the house, Alyson Calagna will bring her unique blend of organic sound, and poetic and modern beats; and for the first time Cherry Bomb will rock the decks of the Green Space. Cherry Bomb DJS Cozmic Cat and Denise Benson will come together for a unique outdoor set that will welcome the crowd and set the stage for this musical journey. Also on the musical menu (roll the drums!): a very special performance by the Maracatu Baque de Bamba! Ambassadors: Jane Riccioppo, Brittany Leigh, Anushki Bodhinayake, Mariana Palhares, Cynthia Santamaria, Lilly Russner, Tristan Chanel, Denise Benson and Cozmic Cat. This FREE outdoor event (donations are accepted and necessary) is intimately situated in Cawthra Square Park, beside The 519.
