some of the best food I've had in toronto.
The waiter was sassy (which I like) and the food was amazing! A bit pricey and so were the drinks, but it's Toronto. What place has cheap drinks anyway, right? I went during pride and I had a seat right next to the parade outside. Gorgeous day great food and service = great time with friends

      Absolutely Fabulous
Very hesitant to try this restaurant after all the negative reviews. Walked by all weekend and refused to go in until tonight when a gracious host smiled at us while we walked by. We decided to go in for a drink and were pleasantly surprised with this beautiful and elegant restaurant. Gentleman would you like to see a dinner menu asked our waiter and we replied yes. I

      Fusion is fabulous
We went to Fuzion two nites running and it was wonderful. Jimmy the owner visited with us and warm, charming and generous with his time. Our drinks were perfect, our meals were creative and delicious, and our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. It was a great intro toToronto!

one of my worst dine experiences
It suppose to be a trandy restaurant in the middle of the TORONTO gay life! But that is not true, is just a place where to wait hours to have a cheap food for a very high price. The staff is somewhat friendly, but is not enough , when you at the end you pay the bill and go out you fell still hungry and very angry the expensive but terrible experience yuo done! If you have choise, go somewhere else!

      The worst service!
When the manager explains you should expect a long wait for your food because it's a fine dining restaurant, you can rest assured it isn't. Without a doubt Fuzion consistently offers the worst service and most over-priced meals in the city. It's a nice place for a drink on a nice summer night. But under NO circumstances should you consider dinner there. I keep hoping it will go out of business so the management will change again. We deserve better!

Great Atmosphere, Lousy Service and Food
I think all the out-of-towners get lured here by the nice Victorian and outdoor seating. I even saw the poor reviews here before giving it a try, but went anyway. Well, the outdoor seating was nice on a summer evening, but the servers were like fresh out of high school and totally clueless. Menu was awful - very pretentious haute-cuisine wannabe, and none of it sounded good. I noticed that most of the people there ended up ordering hamburgers - at $35 for a starter salad, hamburger, and dessert, I'd say it was way overpriced. Skip this place.

      Still Hungry!
I have been there twice, first time for dinner, the Spaetzle were burned and at the end they were running out of decaf coffee!! Second time I was there for lunch at summerlicious, they portions were extremely small, my partners main dish (calamari) was smaller than an appetizer and the dessert was nothing more than an amuse bouche!! The waitress was very nice, but the only rose wine on the list was sold out and she managed to bring the drinks after we already got the appetizers!! Sorry, for that kind of money I expect much more. But certain trendy people don't seem to mind if they are ripped off like that!! Good old Byzantium down the street is still the better choice for a nice dinner!!

I truly wanted to like this place
I was in Toronto the week of July 1 - 6 and wandered by this charming house/restaurant and was immediately taken by it; I did some research and thought it sounded perfect. If only. My friend and I had no reservations but were able to get a nice table on the lovely front courtyard. Our server could not have been friendlier or more helpful. And the kitchen is this restaurant's worst enemy. The restaurant was part of Toronto's Summerlicious promotion for off season dining. When we were seated we were warned we had the table for only 2 hours. Odd then that it would take nearly 45 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. They were tasty and presented on large platters in the style of the day; my scallops were perfectly cooked and my friend's carpaccio perfectly presented if somewhat flavorless. Another 40 minutes passed before our entrees arrived; my lambchops were glorious but luke warm and my friend's Bison steak was grey, cooked to death, not the medium he'd requested. At first he was not going to complain but when I reminded him that it was a $36 steak, he agreed. It took the kitchen 45 minutes to bring him a new plate. We were literally about to call it a night. The couple at the next table had the same delay with their appetizers as we, and gave up on their entrees. Mind you, our waitress checkd in and assured us "it's on the way" several times. When the manager finally brought the steak, his attitude was "well, we got you served". To add further insult, we asked for espressos, only to learn (15 minutes later) that the machine was broken. The restaurant made up for this awful evening by comping us cups of coffee. Folks, if you're going to charge these prices, you need to justify it.
