The Cellar (Closed Permanently)

(36 Ratings)
The name says it all
You'll need to jot down the address as there is no sign outside. All you'll find is a plain-looking door leading down a dark staircase. No saying what you'll get into down there...

I had my first experience with a man here. I still think about it all the time and am sad that this spot closed down. Gerry (or Jerry?) if by chance you see this and remember a "lucy" --get in touch.

I used to love it! The right amount of sleaze, always fun. It did have it's distractors but way, way more fans. Butt, sadly, during the last October days, it has closed it's doors for good. I will miss it, I miss it already - and so do many, many residents of and visitors to Toronto.

not the best experience

Granted, it was an afternoon, but was told that was a hot time. It wasn't. Would have been okay, but wow, not-so-friendly welcome...and $17? For an afternoon? It's too dark, and I get that some like that...but when you can go across the street and pay less for much better amenities and bigger crowd, it seemed a little over-priced and under-serving.

Enter the Unknown

If curious about this place good or bad, the only way to scratch that itch is to go. Very dark atmosphere that can add to the thrill & fear. This place can be busy if you show at the right time. Sounds of cock sucking and groan or cumming men you can hear from the gloryholes and watch as others line up. Down the way just a dark hallway that you can smell sweat and sex all in the air. Take a second before walking down so eyes can get adjust, before taking that leap. Good to bring own condoms as not many there seem to have any.

Fun only for some seniors

As an Asian man of my age, 36, I find the Cellar, very conveniently located at the intersection of Wellesley and Church, difficult for me to fit in. Most customers there, as in the evening of Saturday, are overweight white men in their 50s or 60s. Most of them do not seem to do exercise much. Men of color are some but very few. Oral sex seems to happen among acquaintances only. I guess this site might be of historic value. It is fun to walk around for 10 minutes, but not for me to have fun there.
