My partner and I visited Toronto for the first time. The city and people were fantastic. We decided to stop at this establishment for late afternoon snack and drinks. There were 2 waiters and only a hand full of tables with customers. The place was almost empty. After 10 plus minutes of not being waited on or even approached, I observed the waiters bickering that neither one wanted to serve our table. Other customers came in after us, and had drinks served. We are well dressed, well spoken, black and white male couple in a 13 yr relationship. Is it really possible for racism to be so apparent in the year 2009 ? We left and took our business to the great pub across the street.
