Casual dining with excellent food
Live cabaret and dancing is not the only reason to come to one of the Village's top lesbian hangouts -- the kitchen at Slack's serves up some of the best casual fine dining in the neighborhood. Kicking traditional pub fare up a notch, Slack's serves such tasty offerings as the DLT which combines duck and grilled chicken, pistachio-crusted chicken, and an array of vegetarian dishes. The dessert menu also offers an impressive collection of confectionery treats.

Never know what to expect...Historically called Slack Alice, the current owner's kept the Slack's memory alive with a funky venue for women (and their friends) to enjoy good food and good drinks. As a man, I tend to be the last prioirty of the women bartenders, but it never stops me from going back to their Sunday Night karoake with Foofer (a local karoake celebrity). The rest of the week includes open mic nights, bands, and hip DJs. - more (3)
