**SlutWalk Toronto is an initiative (started locally, but since spread around the globe) focused on continuing the fight against sexual violence and rape culture, and the systems of oppression that exacerbate all violent acts, especially those against women & people read/treated as women; trans and non-binary folks; IBPOC; sex workers; bi/pansexuals; and disabled folks. We hope to be one of the platforms where people can come together to build and reinforce community, show up for each other as allies, and practice resistance to violence and the systems that validate perpetrators while inflicting further oppression and trauma on marginalized people.**
