The second annual
Miss.OPULENCE 2016
Miss Opulence Toronto is entering its second year in November of 2016. Last year’s event was very successful and we are looking forward to a even bigger and better event this year.
Miss Opulence Toronto is a new Drag Pageant that aims to expose some of Toronto’s new female impersonators in the LGBT community to what it takes to be in this drag entertainment field. It is not an easy road being a Drag or Pageant Queen (or both). Miss Opulence’s goal is to give female impersonators the opportunity to showcase their talents. The demand for such events are on the increase and we are poised to meet that need and have the queens benefit from it.
The organizers behind this event are DJ BlackCat and KIngAde Johnson.
DJ BlackCat has worked in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT), and Urban LGBT Community for over twenty (20) years. He is one of, if not Toronto’s most sought after Urban LGBT DJs and party promoter. DJ BlackCat is not only known in Toronto, but in other major Cities such as Ottawa, Montreal, New York City, Chicago, Buffalo, Dallas, England & Jamaica. His work over the years has earned him the title of Legendary DJ. His events are very well promoted and attended.
KingAde has over nine (9) years’ pageantry experience coming from Jamaica, where he hosted the Mimi Miss Ewarton beauty pageant and Miss Ewarton beauty pageant. He has been very active in Toronto hosting many different events including pageants.
