This panel will be moderated by Beth Jordan, a senior-level administrator, educator and social services consultant, and features Angela Robertson, co-editor of Scratching the Surface: Canadian Anti-Racist Feminist Thought; Dr. Rinaldo Walcott, an academic and writer of Black diaspora cultural studies with an emphasis on queer sexualities, masculinity and cultural politics; Kim Katrin Milan, an award winning, internationally acclaimed artist, educator and writer; Rodney Diverlus, writer and co-founder of Black Lives Matter – Toronto Coalition; Syrus Marcus Ware, an artist, activist and scholar who’s work focuses on activism in Canada; and Pride Toronto 2016 Youth Ambassador Jordyn Samuels, founder of Journeys In Equity, raising awareness of equity, anti-oppression and LGBTQ issues.
