Join us for the first ever Jewish HIV/AIDS panel discussion with leading medical experts, community workers, and people living with the illness. Panel members will discuss, among other topics, factors that drive HIV transmission, how Jewish identity impacts living with HIV/AIDS, and the role of stigma and discrimination.

BIOS:
Louise Binder - a lawyer who has been involved in informing the development of health policy and systemic treatment access practices for HIV from a patient’s perspective for more than 20 years.
Dr. Alex Klein - a Toronto primary care physician who has been treating HIV infection since the initial cases appeared in the early 1980's.
Jordan Lewis - has worked for over 15 years as the social worker in the HIV team at St. Michael’s Hospital. He has experience working with marginalized populations, including those living with mental health, addictions, and HIV.
Ryan Peck - lawyer and Executive Director of the HIV & AIDS Legal Clinic Ontario (HALCO)
Ron Rosenes - has been living with HIV for over 30 years, is a founding Board Member of the Sherbourne Health Centre, and recently received an Honorary Doctorate from Carleton University and the Order of Canada in recognition of his community work in the HIV community.
