#AWxJO Alexander Wang TAKEOVER at Jonathan+Olivia for one-day-only On April 9 the directional Toronto retailer will transform into a space showing the complete world of Alexander Wang Toronto, ON – Recognized as one of North America’s key retailers, Toronto designer boutique Jonathan+Olivia (49 Ossington Ave.) today announced plans for Alexander Wang’s collections to takeover its entire store for one day. From 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, Jonathan+Olivia (J+O) will evoke the aesthetic and vision of Alexander Wang, inspired by the ‘Sneaker Head installation’ originating from Wang’s New York flagship store. The exclusive event will feature the current J+O selection of Alexander Wang plus additional stock of Spring /Summer 2015 T by Alexander Wang brought in from New York, and Spring/Summer 2015 runway collections for men and women. In addition, visitors can preview Pre-Fall & Fall 2015 collections and the recently launched Denim x Alexander Wang collection. A ‘Sneaker Head ‘ installation, inspired by the sneaker iconography of Wang’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection is featured and will create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. A limited amount of Alexander Wang gifts will be given to customers who spend $250 or more. “At J+O we search the globe and carefully handpick designers and brands that bring our customers a unique and next level shopping experience,” says owner Jackie O’Brien Jones. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Alexander Wang on this global first.
