My obsession with the city and love of dance music is partially satiated by holing away, unironically watching electric circus reruns. enter napster, enter detroit techno, enter chicago house. then dancefloor-destined trips to detroit, chicago, berlin, london. I moved to toronto to study philosophy and grad school monasticism starts to remind me of rural isolation. Dance music again offers the antithesis.
