We are so ready to make our own Olympics, make them Queer and make them right here in Toronto. And every Olympics needs a Torch so expect the flamiest queerest LGBTQ torch you've ever seen! On Sunday, September 8th, the world will come together and take to the streets in protest!! Citizens will rally in cities across the globe: Rio, London, Berlin, Winnipeg, New York, Sydney and more, standing up against inequality and discrimination. What better time to have a rally than when TIFF is welcoming the world and the world is watching Toronto. The Rally will be an opportunity to build connections and build solidarity with all LGBTQ people who are working toward realizing their full lives and a better world. The time has come, where we send a message to countries like Russia, Uganda, Iran and every anti-LGBT nation, that all humans are created equal and deserve freedom. We must take a stand.
