Nice drinking bar. Bartender on the Sailor side was very friendly. The bar seemed like a clicke in a way, but I still had fun.

If you're going to Gay Toronto, you MUST go to Woody's. The bars located throughout offer different places to chat or watch the boys, and the bartenders were all HOT HOT HOT. We didn't love Canada's laws governing drink pouring (only one measured shot per drink, unless it's a double), but the friendly atmosphere made up for it. We went for a fantastic Halloween party and had an absolute blast, but it's just as fabulous every night! Tip: Since the mixed drinks are so measured and expensive, try a Smirnoff Ice-they're made with real Vodka, not malt liquor like in the States... yum!

The Bar is very welcoming as well as clean and neat. Plenty of space with the multiple bars and spacious rooms. The bartenders are very good looking and the bar is reinvested in, so its not like the ones where its almost falling apart. Television screens everywhere playing music videos and music pumping in the place. The bar also features individual tables and booth areas for more private conversation. Bathrooms are in both pretty good condition and very neat and are located in the center of the bar down the stairs. Down a couple of steps might not be the best position for a bathroom in a place where alcohol consumption occurs but none the less the bar is an excellent alternative to some of the larger venues on the block providing a great place to just get a drink...

Woodys is one of the most popular places on Church st. for a reason. There was a kind "cheers' vibe, where everybody knows everybody's names. The mood was fun and anything goes since at midnight the best ass contest began, I didn't stay so I guess I'm shy afterall.
