Wednesdays are a college night according to local listings. they are BUSY if you don't like crowds its not the day. Saturday night I was there it was a very different then i expected it was a very non-church st crowd.but alot of fun. the drinks are cheap on wednesdays. i only went to the barn a few times in the past I like this new barn more i don't feel like I am going to be drugged and sodomized on the 3rd floor. I had not been in Toronto for some time and remember the Barn as a celebration of masculinity. Well those days are completely gone. It is ridiculous really, how something like this could happen. As far as I can tell masculine males seem to have been banned from the Toronto's gay village. Certainly from the Barn. The security are rude, bar staff have attitude and service is beyond bad.
